What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?

With 2FA, a user's identity is verified when logging into an account in two ways. It's an additional layer of security, providing better protection against hackers. In addition to entering a username and password, you also enter a second factor when logging in. This can be done via a fingerprint, facial recognition, or a code from an app on your mobile phone.

To set up your mobile two-factor authentication (2FA), you first need to download an app. We recommend using Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
